Creating, Updating and Deleting Calendar Events in Outlook from Finance and Operations

Basically as the subject says. I would be very grateful to hear if anyone has tried this in the past.

In x++ I would like to be able to create calendar events in Outlook and if the events in Outlook are edited somehow send the updates back to Finance and Operations.
I have the same question (0)

Because I did not manage to call the external libraries I made this post: https://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/details/?threadid=4a106985-2ad3-ef11-8eea-6045bdebfed9

I wanted to share an update on how I solved this.

    I explored two approaches:

    1. Writing a C# .NET Framework project and using the Microsoft Graph client.
    2. Making direct HTTP calls from X++ to the Microsoft Graph API.

The first approach didn’t work for me because, although I managed to run the C# code and call it from X++, I couldn't use NuGet packages that aren’t already available in Finance and Operations. I followed Microsoft's documentation, and this Alex Meyer's (@alexmeyer.itguy) post (which is very similar to my approach) was also helpful, but I still hit this limitation.

On the other hand, making HTTP requests directly from X++ worked. So if you're looking to interact with Outlook Calendar, I’d recommend that approach.
