Issue with Jet Addon due to anlaytics

I have this issue with Jed addon causing excel to hang for 2minutes 15secs. Disabling the addon and excel works fine. 

When Excel is hanging I was able to capture that the it was sending TCP SYN-Sent to go.jetreports.com on IP 128.203.231.117 when the TCP connection finally fails 2minutes 15 secs then excel loads fine. But anything done withing the Jet Ribbon in excel hand again for around the same amount of time.  

i compared the settings.xml with a working device and only difference is Send Diagnostic usage Data is set true on non working device and set to false on Working device. i tried to configure this manually but Jet rewrites it everytime its run. I checked the app setting in Jet addon ribbon in excel and can see Customer Experience Improvement Program is set to yes. when I change this to No and save it hangs again. when the hang clears and I go back into app Settings It has changed it back to Yes for Customer Experience Improvement Program. 

I have tried uninstalling and removing all residual folders and registry entries but its still does the same thing and forces send diagnosticusage data to true and yes for customer experience improvement program to yes. 

I tried logging in as admin and uninstalling and removing all left over folders and registry entries and then signed in using my own account and setup jet to not joining the Customer experience Improvement Program.  and it works fine. 

as soon as i sign in with the affected user it forces Customer Experience Improvement Program again and hangs. 



any help would be much appreciated.

    Based on your testing, this looks clearly user-profile specific rather than an Excel, Business Central, or machine-wide Jet installation issue. The strongest evidence is that Jet works correctly for another Windows user on the same device, while the affected user forces Customer Experience Improvement Program = Yes, attempts a connection to go.jetreports.com, waits around 2 minutes 15 seconds for the TCP timeout, and then continues. I would check whether the affected user's Jet setting is being restored from another user-specific source such as roaming profile data, AppData, registry, Group Policy, or a cached Jet configuration—not just settings.xml. Since uninstalling Jet and removing machine-level remnants did not help, I would also test by creating a completely new Windows profile for the affected user; if that works, it strongly confirms profile corruption or a persisted user-level setting. As a workaround, allowing access to go.jetreports.com may remove the delay, but the real issue is why Jet keeps forcing diagnostic usage back to enabled for that specific user. I would raise this with Jet/insightsoftware support because I could not find a public Microsoft or Jet document describing this exact behavior.
