We are looking to implement functional automation specifically for regression testing in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Looking for insights on:
- Recommended automation tools/frameworks that work well with Dynamics GP (especially for regression testing)
- How others have approached automating regression test cases in GP
- Strategies for automating end-to-end business processes across modules (AP, AR, etc.) and validating transactions at the SQL database level
- Our goal is to reduce manual regression effort during releases while ensuring both functional accuracy and data integrity.
If you’ve implemented automation with SQL validation in GP, I’d appreciate any guidance, tools, or lessons learned you can share.
