In my case, this doesn’t seem to apply to the scenario. The Microsoft Entra ID application is already configured correctly in System administration > Microsoft Entra ID applications, and the associated F&O user has the required roles and permissions.I was able to successfully create 2–3 data entities earlier in the same environment without any issues. However, the error has started appearing only now when creating a new data entity, without any recent configuration changes from our side.
I’ve done some R&D at my end as well, including validating: Security roles and data entity permissions in D365 F&O, User access and privileges, Relevant settings in PPAC.
Everything appears to be in place and unchanged. That’s why this behavior is a bit unexpected, especially since it’s occurring in an existing and previously working setup.
