Fixed Assets module not populating NBV when scrapping or selling assets - D365 F&O
Hi Dana Ellis,
As per the design, when running the Disposal-Scrap system will not show the Net book value in the Fixed asset journal.
It will show the amount as blank and at the time of posting it will calculate the scrap value based on the NBV and will post to the relevant main account.
The below is the screenshot for your reference:
1. Creation of Disposal- Scrap proposal
2. After clicking on Ok, system will create a line with the asset number with "0" amount. The transaction type will change to Disposal-Scrap.
3. Click on post, the journal will be posted with NBV as Scraped.
