Hi community,

I want to setup approval only for one user from my company. For Example I have 20 users but I want that everyone should create and post any documents but User XYZ should alway need an approval from me and approval restriction must be only for this users not for all.

Yes, this can be handled through Approval User Setup. Set User XYZ with the required Approver ID. For all other users, enable Unlimited Purchase Approval so they can post purchase documents without requiring approval. So only User XYZ will need approval, and other users can continue posting normally.

Hello,

Standard Approval User Setup defines who approves whom and approval limits, but it does not automatically require approval based only on the current user. You can create a document approval workflow with a condition such as Assigned User ID = XYZ, provided that field is reliably populated, while other users remain outside the workflow; however, to strictly prevent only XYZ from posting unless the document is approved, a small customization is normally required to validate the current user and approval status before posting. Removing posting permissions from XYZ is another option, but then another user must perform the posting.
