Set default view in Scheduling Assistant

We are trying to set the default "mode"/view in Field Services Schedule Assistant to Gantt from List.

The Schedule Board is showing Gantt view by default but when clicking on a Resource Requirement and then Find Availability it changes the view to list view (see screenshots).

We have seen another Field Services solution that uses the Scheduling Assistant without the RSO add on working all from the Gantt view.

Thanks

    Hi Mbethune

Here is the link that guides step-by-step on how to achieve it. Define schedule board tab settings in Universal Resource Scheduling | Microsoft Learn.

    Thanks Abdul

Views are looking different from those instructions in the link

Cannot seem to find the Gantt view settings to set that mode/view as default still.

We could possibly be using the Next-generation schedule board experience

@mebthune you are using the new schedule board experience, any luck? I am also trying set the default view to "weekly" in the schedule assistant. It seems it may not be possible

Yeah using the new schedule board experience and still no luck.

Our Dev env. is using the new experience too and working as we want so there must be a setting or a "tick box" somewhere that we have missed.

We are having this same issue and its very frustrating for our dispatchers. They are constantly having to reset their default view.

Completely agree we should have a setting for this so I have created an Idea as it would be so useful for users.

Best get voting for the idea :-)

I couldn't find any similar ideas already out there.

    Hello,

I'm having similar issues and haven't been able to make it work for me.

Has anybody found a solution already?

    Thanks

PS: I just upvoted the idea suggested to MS
