How to enable currency update on Sales Quotation or Sales Order in F&O, when DW is enabled?

Hi dear community,

I have one challenge in F&O when we connected it with CRM via standard Dual Write sync functionality.

In some cases, there's a need to update the currency on a SQT or SOR, and used to change it in the past, but now we get an error on CDS side looking smt like this:

If I just remove the mapping from the entity maps in DW, it does help, but in that way my data between the two systems is inconsistent and it doesnt really solve my problem :/

Any experience or ideas??

Hi,

The CDS side means CRM. CDS was the previous name for Dataverse. In case you have the sales order or quotation in CRM without Dual Write, are you then able to change the currency? This seems to be a limitation on the CRM side. For that reason, in F&O, such action will then also fail.

Hi, i have a same problem in the past on inventory unit of measure, in my case the unit ID of CRM was different respect FO, was a problem made on initiatial data migration from the old system, but DW cannot update more the Item case the unit is not the same, i don't know if your data are migrated, but if you activate DW without check data consistency your problem can have a reason.
