Quality Management in BC - where is the workflow

According to Microsoft there is supposed to be a workflow for the Quality Management module in BC (v28) but I do not find the workflow template for Quality in the release at all. Anyone else finding this anomaly?
Here is the release video from microsoft and the workflow is mentioned around minute 40.
Just wondering how I now go about transferring stock from inventory to another location as a result of a Quality inspection. Do I simply use a transfer order? It doesn't seem to ne linked to a Quality inspection at all.

There aren't any workflow templates for quality management but you will get access to the workflow events for that module:

You will have to build the workflows yourself from scratch.

As far as I can tell, yes, Transfer Order is the answer - Our customizing partner has also made it clear to us that "Quality" is not part of the native BC experience.

yes had the same confusion first time I looked for it. the Quality Management in v28 does have workflows but is not ready-made template you pick from list like approval ones we used to. you build it yourself from Workflow page using new events and responses that comes with the Quality extension. things like inspection finished as event, then responses like block the lot, relocate inventory, negative adjustment for scrap etc.
for your case of moving stock after inspection, there is response that relocates inventory to another location or bin automatic based on result. so no, you dont need plain transfer order by hand and lose the link to inspection. setup the workflow with condition on fail result and the movement triggers from inspection itself, audit trail stays connected.

one thing to watch, make sure Quality Management Setup is fully done and extension enabled, otherwise the quality events dont show up in workflow list. caught me out for half hour first time.

    Hope this help, Best regards

    Hello,

For Workflows there are number of Events and Responses available in business central, as per user's requirement user can generate workflow in the system by using the events and responses.

    Hope this answer helps you!

    Hello,
The workflow is not a separate “Quality” template in the list like Purchase/Sales approvals, so I wouldn’t rely on finding a ready-made template there. Per Microsoft Docs, Quality Management adds workflow events/responses such as “When a Quality Inspection is Finished” and actions like block lot, move inventory, or create negative adjustment. For moving failed stock, don’t just create a normal transfer order if you want the link back to the inspection; use the failed inspection actions, especially Move Inventory, because Microsoft says it is prefilled from the failed lot/inspection and keeps the connection to the quality failure. If those quality workflow events/actions are missing, first confirm the Quality Management extension is installed/enabled in that environment; if it is installed and still missing in v28, I would raise it to Microsoft as a product/documentation gap.

    Hi, good day
I hope this can help you, and give you some hints.

It is possible that the workflow will appear in this demo data.
