Need to update custtable within custtable form while editing the address.

Dear experts,
 
I need to update a particular field in custtable when the user edit the customer address.
 
When I update it, getting error 'update conflict '
 
What is the best approach to do it.

    Can you show us the exact error message which field custom or OOB ? If possible please share the code. Possibily someone else is trying to edit same record.

    Could you post a bit more details about your implementation? 
    An update conflict happens, when another user/resource is trying to access the same record.
