Hello everyone,

I am reaching out regarding an issue we are encountering when sending an invoice from Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to a SharePoint site. The process fails with the following error message:

File '/sites/E-InvoicingDynamics365/Documents/Facture Client/out.aymen.chelbi (638991874183837676).xml' does not exist or you do not have permission to open the file.

Request ID: 4606dba1-104c-e000-70fc-a7bc43532713
HTTP 500 Error

All connections between Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and SharePoint are configured correctly, and all permissions have been granted as described in this blog post:

Has anyone experienced this issue before and found a solution? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,

    Hi

Could you please check whether the user who created the file has full permission to access the SharePoint folder?

    Thanks

    Hello Sathish,

    Thanks for your response.

With my account I’m the owner of the SharePoint folder, so I have full permissions.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

For your information, in case you ever encounter the same issue : the root cause was related to the SharePoint site type rather than permissions. Using a Team Site instead of a Document Center resolved the problem

    Best regards,
