WHS Issue: Finished work on final shipping location, no inventory there , but picked on sales order

Hi All

Since some time when work is finished and items are moved to final shipping loction, the final shipping locations show no inventory but show as picked on sales order, with no physical or financial date. What could be the reason?

Hi,

Because the Picked transaction is only for tracking and monitoring purposes and has no financial impact, there are no physical dates.

In contrast, for Dispatches/Receiving, the system updates the physical dates based on the inventory transaction. These transactions can have a financial impact depending on the configuration. Once these documents are invoiced and the inventory status is Sold/Purchased, the system updates the financial date, and the corresponding financial impact is posted.

However, the above is a general rule, as the system maintains the data differently for work and transfer orders etc.
