What is the limitations and possibilities in the parameter "Use warehouse management processes" on Storage dimension groups? On items connected to a Storage dimension group with "Use warehouse management processes" = Yes, I can still perform transactions as purchase, sales, production journals and so on. Is there any limitations I don't see?
For the storage dimension groups, this option ensures that all required storage dimensions are enabled, and you can't change individual settings for them. This does not limiting you from executing transactions via several posting option in the application. Only in case of a warehouse where warehouse management is enabled, it will check if the dimension group has the pre-requisite settings. You can still use the same item in not warehouse controlled warehouses, like 3PL or warehouses in individual stores.
