Can't generate General Ledger Entries

Hi Guys,

When posting a Warehouse Shipment transaction, it should automatically generate a journal in G/L Entries, but in the last 2 months, there are those who can generate GL Entries and there are many transactions that cannot generate journals in GL Entries.

For Example : Posted sales Shipment number : SDO-MKI/09/24/0139 (can't generate GL entry)

for other number : SDO-MKI/09/24/0138 (can generate GL Entry)

For both transactions using the same product with item code: 121-302-0071

In WHS Shipment transactions, there is only Post shipment

and then create "Sales Invoice" to generate AR

I don't have any customization in this process.

there are still many transactions last month for these products that have not yet formed a G/L Entry, for a ratio of 60:40

No one should change the parameters in the "Inventory Setup" menu.

currently I check that G/L Entry has appeared but yesterday did not appear

If user only post shipment, BC doesn't create GL entries.

This is not correct. If in the Inventory Setup you have Expected Cost Posting set to yes, which we do in this case, then the system creates G/L Entries when a shipment is posted.

Some reasons G/L Entries would not be created:

expected cost posting in the inventory set up is turned to no. Its unlikely, but is it possible someone is changing this setting prior to posting?

the item cost/price is 0, which in this case its not as your item has a standard cost with a non zero cost.

you have some sort of customization. The fact that two shipments on the same date, for the same item, have different results makes me think this is the case. If you go the Value Entries Page, what do you see in the Cost Posted to G/L field for both shipments?

when posting, user has options to post Shipment, Invoice, Ship and Invoice.

If user only post shipment, BC doesn't create GL entries.

- Sales Order - generate to "Warehouse Shipment"

- Warehouse Shipment posting automatically generated:

a. "Posted Warehuse shipments- Archive"

b. "Posted Sales Shipments - Archive"
