Error Logs in case of Dynamics 365 Online deployments made on Power Apps

ReportReport

In earlier Dynamics 365 on-premises deployments, when solutions containing reports were deployed, the execution logs for those reports could be found at: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS13.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles" Now that deployments are being moved to the online environment, where can these report execution logs be accessed? Any guidance would be appreciated.

In Dynamics 365 Online, you don’t have direct access to the SSRS server file system anymore - so that old path

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS13.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles

    is no longer accessible.

Microsoft hosts the SSRS infrastructure for you, and all report execution logging is surfaced through application-level tools instead of raw log files.Where to find report execution logs in Dynamics 365 Online

    System Jobs

Go to Settings → System Jobs (or Advanced Find for entity: AsyncOperation).SSRS reports executed via D365 (scheduled or on-demand) create entries here.
    Status: Succeeded, Failed, or Canceled.
For failures, you’ll see error messages, which are the only “log” details you get in the online service.

    Report History (per report)

    Go to Reports in D365.

    Open the specific report.

If history is enabled, you can review:

    Execution date/time

    Duration

    User who ran it

This is stored inside D365, not in a file.

Power Platform Admin Center – Diagnostics

Navigate to the Power Platform Admin Center.
Select your environment → Settings → Audit and diagnostics settings.
Some telemetry about report execution time and failures can be surfaced if auditing is enabled.

Fetch XML & Plugin Traces for Custom Reports

If you have custom RDLs that use FetchXML, you can enable Plugin Trace Logging in System Settings.
This captures the FetchXML queries and execution info for debugging.

    Microsoft Support (hidden logs)
The actual SSRS execution logs do still exist on Microsoft’s side, but you can’t access them directly.
If you have a persistent or hard-to-reproduce report issue, open a Microsoft support ticket - they can pull the SSRS execution logs from the online servers for your tenant.

I hope this helps to you.
