Hi,

This is a new area for me and needed some advise in the comes up for me.

Regarding updates to a D365 instance, how are these done and is there any easy to understand documentation/process you can link or direct me to?

Anything I need to be aware off - feature management etc.

P.S. Cloud and NOT on prem

    For cloud related instances, you can refer to the links mentioned below.
     
    You can use the Issue Search within Dynamics Lifecycle Services to check for version related features etc (based on the Platform version) to check for features (existing or new), functionalities (existing or new) etc. 
     
    Feature management related documentation:
     
    For platform updates, the link shared by Martin is pretty helpful.
