56We are using outbound load planning to schedule freight shipments containing assemble to order materials as well as pick and ship components. We utilize license plates to streamline outbound picking at the skid/box level. License plates may contain up to hundreds of unique part numbers.
Is there a clean way to unpick a full license plate from a load once it has been picked complete? I am imagining a “reverse work” button from the work details window that would reverse all work associated with the LP pick and put all materials back into inventory under the LP and a directed location. Instead, we currently have to use the “reduce picked quantity” function from the load and unpick all lines to the license plate. This is not sustainable and impossible to manage once quantities are split to numerous License Plates throughout our picking process.
The current methods of unpicking I am aware of:
- Reduce picked quantity from the load line menu
- requires that individual lines are unpicked 1 at a time. This is not sustainable for large scale shipping operations
- Reverse Work option from the load menu
- Does not allow license plate selection to unpick specific work IDs.
