Using D365FO OCR Capture solution to get Project as offset account in invoice journal

Hello,

We are testing D365 FO OCR. I have a requirement where we have Vendor, Project in invoice. I want to map Project to offset account while Invoice Journal gets created, can we achieve that out of the box? If not what are the other ways to achieve this?

Hello,

From OOB the are not project field available into the MS invoice capture.

As work around you can try to set a default offset project to use on the vendor journal invoice, and see the effect when you import the invoice from the invoice capture:

Hi Giorgio,

Thank you for the work around. But How can we make OCR process understand that Invoice needs to be with Project offset. Does this need any customization?

Hello,

I'm afraid so. The problem with the Invoice capture is that's not easy to customize (because the code is closed).

If you need to capture the Project Id throughout the invoice capture, I can suggest as alternatives:

- Open a ticket to MS to ask with modification can be perform
