Can someone direct me in finding the nominal ledger code in GP?

Hello Ruskhsana
Accounts in Dynamics GP are defined based on a specific account segmentation, this logic is defined through the Account Format setup window which includes a set of segments to be later on associated with the accounts.
It is usually recommended to include the account code or nominal in one of the segments. Other segments can be defined for cost center, location, product SKU ...etc.
Account format window can be reached on the following path : Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Company > Account Format
After the account format is defined, you can go to define your segments. Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Financial > Segment
Further capabilities can be provided through the M4 Advanced General Ledger.
Your feedback is highly appreciated,
Check this on below path and let us know whether this is correct.
Go to Tools-->Setup-->Company-->Account format.
Go to Tools-->Setup-->Financial-->Segment.
Also have a look on the below link.

Hope this helps!!!
Hi,
thanks for the swift response but I'm not looking to create a new General Ledger Account but rather the General Ledger/Nominal Ledger Code that is associated to that account. Each Nominal Account is given a unique Nominal Code so that it can be easily identified. Accounting transactions are then assigned with these Nominal Codes so that it is possible to view what has occurred in that area of the business over a set timeframe. This code is held against the account in GP somewhere which I am trying to find
