The customer is currently using AX2012 R3. They have already purchased some D365 licenses, but a significant part of their licenses is still on AX2012 under the SPLA model.

My question is: if the customer purchases additional D365 licenses via CSP, can they use dual use rights to continue running the on‑premises AX2012 environment?

I would like to confirm whether moving from SPLA to CSP allows continued use of AX2012 on‑prem, and whether there are any limitations or additional licensing requirements we should consider.
