I’m trying to create containers for outbound shipment orders in Dynamics 365 F&O. This is the situation: when I create containers for a “normal” shipment (where there is only one sales order on that shipment), I can create containers from the mobile device without any issues.
The problem appears when I try to consolidate shipments, either from the shipment form itself or from Outbound Load Planning. When I create the container from the mobile device on consolidated shipments, it lets me select the shipment, but when I confirm the container ID (when it should then ask for the item number), an error appears saying that there are no items available at the location.
When I check the on-hand inventory, the items do appear at that location; in fact, I’m following the same process as when the order–shipment relationship is 1:1. I’m clearly missing something here…
