I’m looking for guidance on how (or if) the out‑of‑the‑box Sales Pipeline chart in Dynamics 365 can be controlled when using multiple Business Process Flows with different stage models.
Current setup
- Dynamics 365 Sales (Sales Hub)
- Multiple countries on the same environment
- Two Business Process Flows on Opportunity w
- Each BPF has different stage names and number of stages (e.g. *Qualification vs Qualify, Negotiation vs Commit, etc.)
Stage Category situation

- We already have multiple Stage Category choices in the global option set
- We cannot delete or renumber existing Stage Category values because there is live data and reporting depending on them
The problem
The system Sales Pipeline chart is displaying stages in an incorrect order
Because we have
- Multiple BPFs
- Different stage names per pipeline
- Existing Stage Category values that cannot be changed
Is there any supported way to control or override the ordering of Stage Categories
