D365FO - How to see long term retention data in PPAC

Dear all,

I tried to archive some data to check how it works and what are the impact in terms of data consumption.
As far as I understood it, when I run the archive with dataverse long term retention job, the data is being moved to history tables IN F&O and also to the dataverse cold storage.

My question is:
Where do I see or can expect to see the data in dataverse in PPAC?

This is the job I ran including the log.

In PPAC, I was checking on the following page the databse usage for dataverse and was expecting an increase of the UAT environment, as this is the environment in F&O where I ran the job.
Its weird that my UAT needs less capacity than Staging, but whatever.

Clicking on these 3.84 GB opens the consumption per table, where I filtered by tax.
Is this my retained data? It may sound pretty obv. to you, however, I wanna make sure I havent missed anything.

Thanks in advance, Adis

    Hi Adis,

It was great to meet you at DynamicsMinds. Thanks for answering questions on this forum and asking other great questions yourself.

For viewing data or use them in e.g. Microsoft Fabric, you can read the next article on Microsoft Learn.
