Hi!

I'm facing an issue on the timeline related to activities record. When Im creating an activity for example like task. Now on the timeline, the task record that was created is showing the owner name but im expecting the username who has actually created the activity.

In the above image, highlighted is the owner of the record but what im expecting is the user name which has to be displayed. I have no idea how to do this. Can someone help me in doing this?

Thanks!

    Hi Partner,

you can change the field to  "username" or "created by" by following the mentioned steps

    • Navigate to  Customization -> Customize the system -> Entities ->  Task -> Task Card Form,
    • Once you open the Task card form, Instead of Owner field,  you can add another field either Created By or add field as required

-- Save and Publish the changes

    • Navigate to affected Entity, for example Account or Case and navigate to timeline section and  select activities and select the card form as highlighted in screenshot

Save and Publish this changes and this should change the field from Owner to Created By name

GiridharRaju check out my blog post below to find out how to control which fields to show on the Timeline Control in Unified Interface by customising the card form.
