Security Option is missing for Global Admin

Hello,

Was hoping for any hint. I'm using Dynamics 365 trial, one user with Global Admin, "Security" option under Setting -> System is missing. What am I missing?

    Hi Victor,

    Did you signup for a trial on trials.dynamics.com? In that case, you don't have all features available. Some security and administration parts have been disabled to prevent incorrect setup.

    Yes it is trial. I signed up for trials in past but security option never been missing. Is there a new process to set up?

    I've created a another user with Global Admin role, tried adding Dynamic Admin role, switched instance PROD<->Sandbox, nothing helped.

    "Promote to Admin" seems an option in Users view which is under Security Section where I don't have a link to. Ideas?

    Hi,

    Can you try accessing the link directly and see if you are able to access?

    yourorg.crm.dynamics.com/.../adminsecurity_area.aspx

    You need to change your org in the above url. If this works then this means that the menu is not available in the sitemap and adding it to sitemap should fix your issue.

    Updated site map to include Security, works.

    I might re-recreate the trial but on live PROD, how would you in general go about finding each option URL? Is there way to reset Site Navigation to default?

    Many settings (including Security) have now moved to the Dynamics 365 Admin Centre. Enough to drive one mad.

    Navigate to: Microsoft 365 admin center >> Dynamics 365 >> click on the environment & Edit >> Settings[View:/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/761/7723.2019_2D00_11_2D00_08_5F00_13_2D00_56_2D00_46.mp4:320:240]
