Hi All,

I am trying to upgrade one of the Business central sandboxes of version 25.5 to Version 26 but it get automatically keep pushing the upgrade date to one week ahead.

Any thoughts on why it is happening and how can I upgrade my sandbox. I have marked this Boolean also true-  Allow the update to run outside the update window.

Thanks
NS

This behavior usually happens when your sandbox has an extension or dependency that is not yet compatible with version 26, or the Base Application synchronization fails during the upgrade process.

    Here’s what you can do:

    1. Check Installed Extensions – Go to Extension Management and verify that all extensions are compatible with v26. If any are not, you’ll need to upgrade or uninstall them.

    2. Review Admin Center Logs – In the Business Central Admin Center, review the environment's Update Status and Operation Logs. It may show the exact error or dependency issue causing the upgrade deferral.

    3. Use App Management > Apps Scheduled for Upgrade – It will show if any extension is blocking the upgrade.

If all looks good but the issue persists, contact your Microsoft partner or raise a ticket via Microsoft support.

If you want to upgrade immediately, change the Start Time to earlier today, and then change the Update Date to today, check Allow the update to run outside the update window, and the update will start automatically after a while.
This is how I test updates.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

The repeated postponement of your Business Central sandbox upgrade from version 25.5 to 26 is likely due to Microsoft’s phased rollout strategy, system load, or extension compatibility issues, even if the “Allow the update to run outside the update window” option is enabled. To resolve this, check the Operations tab in the Business Central Admin Center for logs or errors, ensure all extensions are compatible with version 26, and consider contacting Microsoft Support if the upgrade continues to reschedule without explanation.
