I am trying to create a Data Entity of the DataAreas (as there isn't one already)
However the only data sources I can find are DataAreaTemp, and DataAreaIdTableTemp, which can't be used for data areas
Anyone know the the right data source to use?
Did you check the "Legal entities" entity?
I can't see a "Legal entities" entity in the AOT either. (There is a "LegalRepresentativeEntity") Do I need to add a referenced package?
"Legal entities" is the label of the entity. You will find it in Data entities form in D365.
In AOT you find it with name OMLegalEntity.

You should be able to import legal entities. the only trick would be to make sure party number is auto-generated.
The table used is companyinfo instead of dataareas etc. as you mentioned.
