Cannot post because you did not specify which entry to apply. You must specify an entry in the Applies-to ID field for one or more open entries.

Hello everyone,

I get the following error when I try to apply a Credit Memo to an invoice.

Cannot post because you did not specify which entry to apply. You must specify an entry in the Applies-to ID field for one or more open entries.

The odd thing is that the Applies-to ID field is 'checked'.

How can I fix this?

Thanks for the help

    Hi,

make sure you choose "Payment" or "Credit Memo" as the document type when entering the transaction

Hi, I have encountered this problem when specifying the Applies-to ID directly from the code.
As Inge mentioned, I suggest you delete it on the page and try Set Applies-to ID again.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

Try to clear the applies to ID and the mark it for application again.
