Unable to Export Report to Excel in Microsoft Sustainability Manager

I am facing an issue while trying to export a report to Excel in Microsoft Sustainability Manager. I have followed all the configuration steps mentioned in the official documentation:

Despite completing all the prerequisites, I am still getting a "Business Process Error" with the message:

“Exporting to Excel requires additional configuration. Ensure pre-requisite steps are complete…”

Please refer to the attached screenshot for the exact error message.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any guidance or troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Harshita - As you may have noted in the official documentation, the pre-requisites require:
    • the Workflow to be activated properly
    • the Dataverse connection must be setup correctly
Can you please share screenshots from the Maker Portal to confirm that those has been properly setup and working as expected?

    Thanks
    Subhajit

    Hi Subhajit,

    Thank you for your response.

As requested, I have attached the screenshots from the Maker Portal. I have reviewed the setup and confirmed that both the workflow is activated properly and the Dataverse connection is configured correctly as per the prerequisites mentioned in the official documentation.

Please let me know if any additional information is needed or if you would like me to recheck any specific part of the configuration.

Hi Harshita - We investigated this further and identified that it was a known issue in the May release build.
The same has been fixed now and will be part of the next release in August 2025.

    Thanks
    Subhajit
