Good afternoon folks,
I am looking for workflow for inventory related journals but nothing seems available in inventory management.
Is it never been there before in AX?
How complex it is if I go for customizing a new workflow for inventory journals?

Which version you are using?
Not sure if there is any inventory related workflow available in AX 2012. If you have any environment, you can check there.
Have you checked in Feature management? There is a feature named "Inventory journal approve workflow" as shown below.
I have activated this and got an additional form in inventory management.
Once you open this, you will get below options to set the workflow for inventory journals. Once you click on "New", you will find below workflow types.
Please test from your end and update in this forum.
