Cannot delete Picked Wave

Hi all,

For some Waves, I already processed and released them then completed the warehouse Works. The Wave status was updated to Picked.

However, I realized some mistakes and needed to reverse those Works. After completing the reversal Works to return the items to original locations, the Waves' status is still Picked and the Delete button is greyed out.

How can I clean up those Waves?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I believe it's only possible to delete waves when they have an associated status of "Created" or "Held". Besides the questions whether the status maybe shouldn't be updated to for instance created after a reverse I wanted to suggest in your case to delete the load and the shipment in case you really want to clean-up the wave. However, also in this case, the status remains "Picked" [version tested = 10.0.11]. I noticed that the latter behavior might be resolved as part of release 10.0.12 [KB number: 4554912].

Are you executing these flows in a test environment? In that case another option might be to use the table browser [/?mi=SysTableBrowser&TableName=WHSWaveTable&cmp=USMF&lng=en-us&limitednav=true] in order to update the wave status and to consequently update the wave via the table browser or the client.

    Thanks,

    Alice

    Hi Alice,

I actually tried deleting the Shipment and Load but the Wave status remained "Picked", maybe it's because of the older version.

    Thank you for your suggestion!
