Error message : Activity ID is not associated with the Project ID

Hi all,

Error Activity ID is not associated with the Project ID.

When the user is going to fill the timesheet, the activity column is not displaying. Even the activities is aligned with the project.

Can any one help to resolve this issue.

    Did you actually enter an activity ID?

    Hi Siddhant Singh,

    This might be a setup issue.

    Can you check the validation rules that are in place and that specify which employees can post on which projects with which categories?

    Also check that your project has activities setup in the WBS.

    Hi Siddhant Singh,

    Are you using AX 2012 or D365 Finance and Operation?  Is your activity Id numbering sequence is auto generated? Can you please share the screenshot of "Work breakdown structure" >> Details screen.
