Any book about extending D365 FO with Azure ?

Hi guys,

Recently I read a great book about extending F&O with Power Platform. Honestly, I haven't yet finish it, but makes me wondering, is there same book but extending with Azure services. I see a bunch which usually integrating / extend F&O with Azure Logic Apps, so I would like to know whether there are others and some great authors compiled it.

My opinion is that Power Platform is a business tools, more /nice/ UI desirables, business people or /citizen developer/ using this, but Azure services more on the backend. In the end of the day, to extend F&O, is a work for Technical or Developer, so it comes to backend job. also money wise Power Platform is more expensive compare to Azure services, take example Power Automate vs Logic Apps.

Is that make sense ?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi Ken,

As far as I know, there is no book about extending Dynamics 365 F&O with Azure services. You might check the sites from Amazon and Packt Publishing for books on this topic.

    Hi,
Thank you for sharing your viewpoint. Your viewpoint is quite accurate. Power Platform provides powerful low code/no code tools, making it easy to create applications and automate processes. On the other hand, Azure services focus more on providing underlying infrastructure and backend services, requiring professional knowledge to configure and manage them.
Regarding the integration of FO and Azure, I have not seen any specific books explaining this aspect. You can refer to the description of this in the official documentation or view related blogs and videos to learn more. Or as Andre said you can search on relevant websites.
    Best Regards,
    Hana

    Hi,
You can go to the corresponding website to search, there may be fewer books in this area at present, unless the author of the book really has so much content to show or communicate with readers, otherwise it is generally in the form of a blog for the exchange of related content, and this is more convenient, isn't it? you can be on the one computer, while reading the blog, while operating in the FO system according to the steps prompted by the blog.
    Best regards,
    Kevin
