release to warehouse ax 2012

Hello guys,

please could someone help in this issue is quite urgent

i m working with microsoft Dynamics ax 2012 r3

I have a load with two lines of two sales order with the same item and when i want to relase this load to warehouse i have this error message :

--> To be assigned to wave VAG20_000000581, load lines must specify the dimensions above the location. To assign these dimensions, reserve and recreate the load line.

knowing that for other loads with other items it works well

please ani informations can help !?

Hi hedi,

Error message States the dimensions are missing. Go to the item master, locate reservation hierarchy, see what all dimensions are above location. Come back to order line, update dimensions. Verify that dimensions are updated on load too. Then try releasing again.

Product Information management > released products > general tab.

Reservation hierarchy.. click on whatever you see there.. then check the setup.

For the release to warehouse to work, we have to specify whatever is mentioned above the location.
