Hi All,
I have two team members who is looking after the procurement department of two locations and created a security role and assign the procurement related role to them.
Now I need to setup a data visibility for the two users so that they can see the specified vendors data.
Can you please help me in setup the data visibility for those users.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards

Hi Laxmi Narayana,
You will need to use XDS framework for this. Please check this post for more details regarding the same.
By data visibility do you mean that they are only allowed to see data on certain vendors, or only purchase orders from certain vendors?
In general if you want to limit access to only a subset of the data (like only certain vendors or only certain purchase orders), then XDS is the option you have.

Hi Laxmi,
Your question is not clear enough. It could be interpreted in different ways. If you mean that each of the users can only see the vendors of one location, then you can indeed use the eXtensible Data Security (XDS) framework to achieve it, like mentioned above.
In that case, you can consider using the address book security. This has not been moved from AX 2012 to Dynamics 365, but I have created a post where you can also download objects for free to have the address book security working.
