Proejct Load Error. : error : Unrecognized Guid format.

HI all

I created a customer model with a project and I been adding code and extensions to it for about 3 weeks now in Visual studio. I built the model, and all was well then, I closed Visual studio. I opened visual studio again and got the following error

C:\Infor\Project\[*******].rnrproj : error : Unrecognized Guid format.

I have no idea what happened.

Can anyone help? Please!!!

Hi Nze,

I do read "Infor" in your directory. Is your question related to Dynamics 365 development? Do you have any clue what the Guid might be related to? Is there any more detailed error information? Like Judy mentioned, you can also try the Visual Studio forum.

I figured it out. The project file had duplicate entries. Thanks

Type Windows+R on the keyboard to open the Run dialog
Type Regedit and press enter
Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
Delete the Visual Studio entry
