Security Groups

I created a Security Group in my client's M365 Admin Centre with the intention of applying permissions in BC (now User Groups are on the way out). But it's not coming through into BC. It's not on the list of groups I can access.

The more I look at the groups that are available in BC the more I see in Entra that are also not available and I can't work out why. I think it's because they don't have members with BC licences.

I wondered if the group I created isn't showing up because - with GDAP - I'm almost certainly not a M365 Admin in my client's tenant. But then I asked my client (who is an Admin) to create a group and theirs isn't available either.

I have the same question (0)

Same problem when testing with new V25 version:
    1.
new “security group” in Admin Center created. Owner and member defined (with 365BC-Essential license!).
-> in BC tried to create a new security group.
    Group is not displayed!
    (Test in sandbox+production!)
But other security groups without “BC License” members are offered to choose from!?
    (Admin is Groupadmin!)

    2.
Then Test in another BC V25 (sandbox+productive)
    Users have Premium License!
All new security groups are shown and can be chosen correctly!

So is there an error with BC license?
    Essential or Premium?

    Sadly, no Solution yet

Yeah. I don't know why the full text is hidden. Or, indeed, why you can't delete a post once you've posted it.
    Full text is:

Incidentally, the answer is that BC only shows you the first 60 Security Groups that qualify (i.e. have BC Licenced Members). If your group is 61 onwards you have to copy it's name and paste it into the the "Microsoft Entra Security Group" field on the "New Security Group" popup. This then successfully connects to the Group in Entra.
    Infuriating.
