Aged Accounts Payable -- Printing the New Report Object ID

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport

Hi:

In Report Layout Selection, two Report Object IDs show for the Aged Accounts Payable -- 322 and 10085.  According to something that I read online, 322 has replaced 10085.

We prefer 322 and can run this from Report Layout Selection.

But, upon searching for "Aged Accounts Payable" when not in Report Layout Selection, 10085 is the one that prints.

How do we "tell" Business Central to print 322 and not 10085?

Thanks!

John

Either you or your partner can write a small extension that replace the report at runtime.

An example of how that is done can be found in this documentation:

Why is this new report available to replace the old one if you have to be "made" to create an extension in order to view it?  That seems odd to me.

I am not sure what country version of BC you are using. The report number points to a localized version. The report might be on its way to be obsoleted. But if you tell me what country version you are using we can look into that.

    John,

I have a US, CA, and GB version for my sandboxes and demos. The Aged Accounts Payable report points to 10085. Your Partners DEV can change the report that prints when searching for Aged Accounts Payable.

Hi, since the ApplicationArea of report object needs to be updated, this may require development.
    But there is a solution.

You can tell user to let them run 10085 once in Report Layout Selection

    Then click the bookmark icon.

Users can use 10085 directly in Role Center.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

    Hi!

Did you find any solution, except creating an extension?

I'm on version  : CA Business Central 20.5 (Platform 20.0.45448.47082 + Application 20.5.45456.45681) and still has the same problem.

The system is showing 10085 by default, but we want to see the 322 instead...

    Thanks!

John report 322 I think is the WorldWide standard, in the US the standard is 10085.
