Integration between CRM and Sharepoint

Hi Community,

The integration between CRM and SPO was successful, but there is one issue, which is appeared in created folder structure by flow/script. On the picture is shown the folder structure which is created by flow, but all folders cannot be opened in CRM and I cannot upload there a document. I should navigate to Sharepoint and there I am able to upload a file in the chosen folder. If I upload it through CRM, it is uploaded below the folder structure. Do you have any idea how to resolve it?

Thank you in advance!

    Hi all,

I found the answer which has been given by Lu Hao and it  is a perfect solution - The folders are indeed not accessible in the Document subgrid, which is by design.

To open the folder in the subgrid, the user needs to click on "See associated records", which will also jump to the Related Document tab.

Yes, you can upload documents from CRM to a specific folder structure in SharePoint using the SharePoint Security Sync app by Inogic.
This app simplifies file and storage management by allowing users to create custom folder structures directly from Dynamics 365 CRM, without the need to write scripts or set up complex flows.
It supports features like drag-and-drop functionality to upload multiple files and folders at once into the desired SharePoint folder structure. Additionally, with SharePoint Metadata, you can map CRM fields to custom SharePoint columns, enhancing searchability within SharePoint.
The app also ensures security by replicating Dynamics 365 CRM’s security roles to SharePoint, so only authorized users can access specific files or folders. There's no need to manually configure separate security policies in SharePoint.
    Additionally, SharePoint Security Sync can:
    1. Bulk Migration: Easily transfer large volumes of CRM Notes, Emails, and Sales Literature attachments to SharePoint securely.
    2. Email Management: Seamlessly move email content and attachments from CRM to SharePoint for better organization.
    3. User-Friendly File Management: Upload, download, rename, share links, email, and create folders directly from an easy-to-use interface.
    4. File Versioning: Keep track of file changes with version history, allowing easy access, comparison, or restoration of earlier versions.
    5. Date Display Customization: Choose to show the original upload date or update it with each file modification.
    6. Instant Security Role Sync: Automatically sync security roles between Dynamics 365 and SharePoint, ensuring accurate access control without manual effort.
    7. DocuSign Integration: Sign documents stored in SharePoint electronically with DocuSign for quick approvals.
    8. Security Templates: Restrict or allow specific actions like upload, download, email, copy link, and rename in SharePoint for better control.
Unlock the full potential of your CRM with a 15-day free trial! Install the SharePoint Security Sync app directly from the Inogic website or Microsoft AppSource.
