Hi:
If you are to be an approver in a purchase order approval workflow, do you have to have a user ID in Business Central? And, if so, can you have simply a Team Member license?

If you use Power Automate then you don’t have to be a BC user. For BC approvals you do need to be a user. Try this for the power automate route: https://youtu.be/THZeSnH-agc
Hi, yes, you need a user ID.
But if you use standard feature of BC Workflow, you can use Teams Member License to approve or reject tasks.

Hi John,
If a user have a BC Team Member license, the user can become a user of BC and approve BC workflows. If a user do not have a BC Premium, BC Essential, or BC Team Member license, a user can use Power Automate to approve BC workflows.
