Error when selecting account in general ledger journal lines about dimensions

"Unable to find a unique Dimension code combination record corresponding to the entered values."

general ledger>general journal>journal lines

when i select bank as account type and then select the bank account and move to description i get this error

please help

    Hi Brian moyo,

    Is your code customized already, first check it & if it is not customized then delete this form LedgerJournalTransDaily from AOT-> Form as it reside in sys layer, it will created again by itself then check again.

    If the problem persist, please let us know.

    the form you referring to has customizations on it. so i made an .xpo backup of the form. should i delete and test it?

    It's because of existing customization on it. So, review existing code where exactly the problem is arising with the help of debugger.

                                                                                   OR

    If you don't want existing customization, take backup of it as .xpo file, delete it  and check it again.

    i deleted the form and they are no errors anymore. so i will have to go through the customization and run tests. thank you

    Hi Moyo,

    Please take back up as it is customized object and try to debug on customized object rather than on SysLayer(non-customized) object to get into the issue what exactly prompts you with error.

    if this problem appear with only one user. so open sys. administration module >common>user>user>select user > edit >add admin role. if problem fix remove admin role and remove main account role > restart sys. update us with your findings
