deadlock in inventtrans table when two users post retails statement

Dear all,

 I have experienced a downgraded performance in SQL server. after tracing the issue I found a deadlock in inventtrans table happens when two accountants post a retail statement of two different branches of our retails.

the trace of the error is in the attached graph.

    Please try to install  KB 3185037 "Deadlock on InventTrans while doing statement posting."

    Hi ievgen Miroshnikov,

    Thanks for your response.

    I can see that the above mentioned hotfix is for Ax 2012 R3 CU12.

    But mine is R3 CU9. My client refuse to update it to CU12.

    Have any suggestions for this.

    You can manually apply changes from that hotfix, they are visible from LCS, however, you need to understand that each CU has lots of improvements in Retail area and installing latest CU can fix a lot of bugs and performance issue you have not found yet.
