Hello,

1. Can someone explain why I can not use the "Copy All" function in Sales Quotations for any Quotes that is not 'Sent' status? This copy function is disabled for any confirmed/ canceled quotations. But I would want to copy such quotes as well when I am creating a new quotation and update where necessary.

2. I also get this error when I try to copy some 'Sent' quotations. How can I fix this?

Dear Indiguna,

the process in D365/AX is to create an new sales quotation (or even a sales or purchase order) and then pick up the lines from an existing sales quotation using the "copy" and "from all".

Once a sales quitation is confirmed, the copy from all button is locked.

At this form you can select any quotation (regardless the status), select any quotation lines or also from quotation journal or even a sales order. You can also combine multiple SQ or SO into one new sales quotation.

If you use "Copy from all" this was I could also copy items without belonging to a product category hierarchy

Thanks Andreas! that solved both of my questions.

Having the copy from all option enabled from the Quotes list for 'Sent' Quotes was really confusing.

It makes sense to use copy option after creating the header. Thanks!
