Deployment questions

Hi Community, I'm new to Customer Insights - Journeys. Can some one please help me understand how does the deployment work for Customer Insights?
 
We do have a DEV, TEST and PROD environments, but it seems all the triggers, emails and customer journeys are "records" in the system? Do I need to create a solution and deploy them? I can't find any articles online.

    Good morning Wei,

    If you are configuring new fields or custom logic, I usually build these out in the Developer environment and then release through as normal.

    For emails, journeys, segments etc, you are correct that these are deployed differently than you are used to. I would usually just build these in UAT, so that the users can then perform testing and ensure everything is working as expected.

    You can then use the Configuration Migration tool (instructions here), or the Data Transporter in XRM toolbox to migrate these records into Production, rather than having to build them again from scratch. A new feature is also scheduled for General Availability this month which will make Journeys solution aware so we can add the Journey itself to a solution and release via the usual method in a published state.

    @Fiona_Tiernan Do you know (or anyone else :-) ) if deployments for journeys using solutions are available right now..?? I don't see the options to put Journeys in a solution and wondering if we have to do some setting changes to make it available.
