Hello Experts,

Could anyone please help me to understand the impact in Advance warehouse when we Post Batch Sales order in NAV 2018 and BC. Because my client is using advance warehousing where we create Warehouse. Shipment etc..

Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks much

Nia,

When a customer uses Advanced Warehouse and has the Location set to Require Shipment, which in turn the User creates a Warehouse Shipment document, after the Warehouse performs the Warehouse Pick and registers the Pick, the Warehouse Shipment needs to be posted. When the User clicks Post Shipment, off the Warehouse Shipment, all the Sales Order will reflect Quantity Shipped.

Post Batch, off the Sales Order List, when Advanced Warehouse is employed, will not function as you need to complete/register and post the Warehouse documents before Post Batch Invoice could occur.
