Solution identified as virus when downloaded

Hi,

When I package my solution and download it, Windows defender identifies the solution as virus and block the download.

If I disable Defender I can download the file. But obviously the customer is not willing to disable their firewall when installing the solution.

I have no problem downloading other solutions from the same environment.

Why is my solution identified as virus?

How can I get around this, is it just a single file/entity that is causing this issue?

Any help is much appreciated.

    Hi partner,

    Please set ‘Check apps and files’ to Warn instead of Block in Windows Defender Security Center, so that users can choose whether to download files.

    Thanks for the reply, this works for me - but when I send it to my customer I cannot ask them to disable their firewall (I don't even think they have permission to disable the firewall).

    However, I found a workaround.

    Download the file and unzip it and then zip it again. Now it can be downloaded from mails/onedrive/etc. without the virus prompt.
