I’m using Quality management for warehouse processes.
I’m trying to figure out how to manage creation of work when after control check from the quality order, I have 7 Pcs are good and 3 Pcs are damaged, My expectation is that the system creates two works from the quality order to put the damaged quantities in Damaged Location and put the good quantities in the location storage.
Actually, the system generates only one work for the total quantity “10” based on the quality order status.
The workaround that I Found is to modify the quantity for damaged quantities on the quality order and create manually another quality order for good quantities.
Is this a system limitation when we use quality management for warehouse processes ?
Thanks for your help
Hello Youssef,
This was the behavior before quality management for warehouse processes. The Quality Order is created for the sampled quantity and treated as a whole from then on. When you validate the Quality order, the sampled quantity is also treated as a whole. If you were to change the inventory status on quality check failure, the whole sampled quantity would see the inventory status change.
I agree with you that it would be great improvement to have an option (In Location Directives Lines?) to be able to split quality orders work based on Quality order line results. There is an idea like this on the Microsoft Idea Portal that could use some more votes: experience.dynamics.com/.../
