Why do form updates only appear on new records - should they not appear on all records?

I have updated a form on a custom entity by adding a new sub-grid. I have have published grid and rolled through different environments and published again. However the new grid does NOT appear on existing records of that entity (active or inactive), ONLY new records.

Is there a setting I need to trigger so it appears on all records?Anyone come across this?

Do you know what I am embarressed tto say that the grids are now appearing irrespective of the record state!!!! They were not this morning.

It must take some time to sync up perhaps!?!

    Hi,

How many main form you have in your custom entity. It may be for existing records different form is opening and for new record updated form is showing.

Can you check the name of the form appearing on both new and old records?

Could you please share some screenshot if possible to check this issue.

Please mark my answer verified if i were helpful

    Hi Gavlar,

I was wondering if you have set the form order?

We should move the updated form to the top of the form order.
