Can we change caption of default actions on page like New, Edit, Delete in business central ?

I want to change caption of default actions such as New, Edit or Delete in Pages of business Central. Is it possible through AL.

I dont think so, you can set InsertAllowed, etc. properties to No and create custom actions.

It is not possible to change the captions of default actions like "New," "Edit," or "Delete" in Business Central through AL code because these are system-defined actions. The captions for these actions are hardcoded into the system, and customization is restricted.

This is integrated into the platform and cannot be modified by partners.
But it changes automatically according to the language you set.

For example,

French (France)

Japanese (Japan)

Sorry Sharddha,
we can not do that because it is default functionality of microsoft , so we have no permission to change it.

In Business Central, it is not possible to directly change the captions of default actions such as New, Edit, or Delete on Pages using AL (Application Language). This limitation exists because these actions are predefined by the system and are considered part of the standard page functionality.

While AL allows for extensive customization of pages, including adding new actions, modifying the behavior of existing actions, and adjusting captions for custom actions, it does not support changing the captions of the standard system actions like New, Edit, or Delete directly. These actions are hardcoded within the system and cannot be modified through AL code.
