can someone explain to me how can i use administration tool in business centrall? i have set up business central using docker containers but i cannot see the administration tool ?
Hi,
This question have been up a couple of times earlier.
My understanding is that it is not possible so you need to admin it using PowerShell
community.dynamics.com/.../868123
To administer the instance created in a docker container you will need to use PowerShell. If you created the container with BCContainerHelper there will be a shortcut for the Powershell console created as part of the "installation."
The Admin Center is for BC Saas only:
Business Central Admin Center - Business Central | Microsoft Docs
For BC On Prem there's the NST Admin tool, and for BC on docker you use BCContainerHelper in Powershell.
Running a Container-Based Development Environment - Business Central | Microsoft Docs

Hi, just adding some info.
Business Central Server Administration tool will be Removed with Business Central 2022 release wave 2. (BC20)
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/upgrade/deprecated-features-platform#business-central-server-administration-tool-removal
Hope this helps as well.
Thanks.
